Relaxing location and stay on MDI
The house is located in a quiet waterfront community on MDI and offered a tranquil retreat from peak season daytime trips into Acadia and Bar Harbor. The house and layout are as described and more than accommodating enough for a family of 6. The floating dock was a huge hit for all. Upgrades that the owner may want to consider are upgrading the lighting in all rooms (the living and dining areas were especially lacking), adding ceiling fans to bedrooms (room fans were provided and very helpful), and adding more outdoor furniture to take advantage of the beautiful summer and fall weather. All in all, a nice property in a great location that we would likely consider returning to.
